Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities within the recycled plastics manufacturing plant. This role involves managing the maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective maintenance activities, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. The Maintenance Supervisor will work to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Maintenance Management

• Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all plant machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance activities to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the maintenance team.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and coordinate with HR for recruitment and training needs.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Handle incident investigations related to maintenance activities and implement corrective actions.

Equipment and Facility Management

• Monitor the condition of plant equipment and facilities, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Oversee the inventory management of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment and facility layout for enhanced efficiency and safety.

Budget and Cost Control

• Assist in the development and management of the maintenance department budget.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and implement cost-control measures.
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance for senior management.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the maintenance department.
• Lead initiatives to enhance the reliability and performance of plant equipment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology and practices.

Others

• Manage spare part with ERP system.

Accept maintenance requests and evaluate the maintenance performances.
